HEALING A BLIND MAN

Wherever Jesus went there was always a crowd of people with him, and today was no exception. They followed closely, listening to every word he said. Some asked him questions and he answered each one of them.

A blind man was sitting by the side of the road where he could beg for help from the people who passed by. "Please help me," he cried. "Give to help the poor."

As the crowd, with Jesus in the lead, came closer to him, he could hear the talking and laughing. "Who is that?" he asked someone close to him. "What is all the noise about?"

"It's Jesus of Nazareth," they told him, "and he has a crowd with him."

Right away the blind man started to cry, "Jesus, help me. Jesus help me."

"Be quiet," his friends told him. "He doesn't have time for you."

The blind man cried even louder, "Jesus, have mercy on me. Please help me!"

As the crowd passed where the blind man was, Jesus stopped. "Bring the blind man to me," He commanded.

The man's friends told him, "The Master is calling you. Jesus wants to see you." Immediately, the man got up and walked to Jesus. "What do you want from me?" Jesus asked.

"Lord, I want to see," the man replied. "I want see."

"Go on your way," Jesus said. "Your faith has healed you." And at once the man could see and began to follow Jesus.

Even though Jesus had a large crowd of people around him, He still had the time to help ONE man who needed help. Jesus is still like that. He is never too busy to listen to YOU when you ask for help. Jesus loves you so very much!
